Starting with the cine­ma of the Weimar Republic, a pro­ject group from the IGS Nordend pres­ents how the repre­sen­ta­ti­on of gen­der iden­ti­ties in terms of con­tent and aes­the­tics has deve­lo­ped over more than 100 years.

From December 2023, the LICHTSPIELPLATZ will trans­form the DFF into an expe­ri­men­ta­ti­on and expe­ri­ence space for child­ren. At inter­ac­ti­ve instal­la­ti­ons, they can give free rein to their ima­gi­na­ti­on, be crea­ti­ve and dis­co­ver the magic of film with their fami­lies, edu­ca­tors and teachers.

On October 10, the anni­ver­sa­ry of women’s soli­da­ri­ty against the Taliban, DFF’s Diversity Project 360° will screen the empower­ment film LIFT LIKE A GIRL at LUCAS in soli­da­ri­ty with Afghan women.
