Billie has always been a litt­le later than ever­yo­ne else. Now she’s 16 and it looks like she might final­ly catch up this sum­mer: She has only recent­ly grown quite a bit, and now she is get­ting her peri­od for the first time. What is still miss­ing is her first gre­at love. She starts her sum­mer as a life­guard at the water park with her two best fri­ends Rosie and Juliette, and her oh-so-per­fect older sis­ter Annette. When Billie and Annette both fall in love with the cyclist Pierre, their sis­ter­ly rela­ti­onship is put to the test.
