Ahead of time the\u00adse upco\u00adming inter\u00adview\u00aders get to prepa\u00adre for their inter\u00adviews in work\u00adshops by thin\u00adking about  important ques\u00adti\u00adons to ask: Where did this sto\u00adry come from? What do cer\u00adtain things stand for in the film? How did the actors prepa\u00adre for their role? Stadtteiljury<\/h1>\n

The \u00bbStadtteiljury\u00ab (English: \u201cdis\u00adtrict jury\u201d) is for\u00admed every year in a dif\u00adfe\u00adrent Frankfurt neigh\u00adbor\u00adhood, the open offer is direc\u00adted to child\u00adren and young peo\u00adp\u00adle who learn to express them\u00adsel\u00adves in the pro\u00adject as dif\u00adfer\u00adent\u00adly as they are. This year, the \u00bbStadtteiljury\u00ab comes from H\u00f6chst. For this, LUCAS is working tog\u00ade\u00adther with the Jugend- und Kulturzentrum H\u00f6chst (JuKuZ).
\nAnyone bet\u00adween the ages of ten and 14 can take part. The pro\u00adject beg\u00adins with a work\u00adshop week during the sum\u00admer vaca\u00adti\u00adons from July 24 to 28 at the Jugend- und Kulturzentrum H\u00f6chst<\/strong>. There, the par\u00adti\u00adci\u00adpan\u00adts will watch short films, prac\u00adti\u00adse a pre\u00adcise, ana\u00adly\u00adti\u00adcal view of film, deci\u00adde tog\u00ade\u00adther on eva\u00adlua\u00adti\u00adon cri\u00adte\u00adria, deal with Web 2.0 for\u00admats for their film reviews: pod\u00adcasts, inter\u00adviews, vlogs and much more. During the fes\u00adti\u00adval, the \u00bbStadtteiljury\u00ab then wat\u00adches short film pro\u00adgrams from the com\u00adpe\u00adti\u00adti\u00adon, deba\u00adtes opi\u00adni\u00adons, deci\u00addes on its win\u00adning film and pres\u00adents it via mul\u00adti\u00adme\u00addia lau\u00adda\u00adti\u00adon at the offi\u00adci\u00adal award cerem\u00ado\u00adny. The crow\u00adning glo\u00adry: the \u00bbStadtteiljury\u00ab pres\u00adents its work and the win\u00adning film after LUCAS in H\u00f6chst. The \u00bbStadtteiljury\u00ab pro\u00adject is made pos\u00adsi\u00adble by the Hessian Ministry of Culture with funds from the L\u00f6wenstark \u2014 der BildungsKICK program.<\/p>\n

Young European Cinephiles<\/strong><\/h1>\n

The \u00bbYoung European Cinephiles\u00ab are an annu\u00adal\u00adly chan\u00adging group of young film-loving Europeans who cura\u00adte and pre\u00adsent their own film series \u2014 and thus bring a young, inter\u00adna\u00adtio\u00adnal atti\u00adtu\u00adde to life at LUCAS.<\/p>\n

As part of this \u00bbGet invol\u00adved!\u00ab pro\u00adject, six young peo\u00adp\u00adle who have alre\u00ada\u00addy been invol\u00adved in pro\u00adjects at other European film fes\u00adti\u00advals, cine\u00adma\u00adthe\u00adques or film insti\u00adtu\u00adti\u00adons net\u00adwork in the months lea\u00adding up to the fes\u00adti\u00adval. During LUCAS, the YECs pre\u00adsent their film series, which they have cura\u00adted inde\u00adpendent\u00adly accor\u00adding to a spe\u00adci\u00adfic the\u00adme or genre.<\/p>\n
